Fine Arts

Starting in kindergarten, CCS students attend art classes with accomplished and passionate art teachers. In elementary school, students take art once a week, and in Jr. High and High School, students are given the opportunity to take various art electives such as Graphite Drawing, Colored Pencil Drawing, General Art, and Advanced Art.  

Art students learn:

• Elements of Art

• Principles of Design

• Application of these elements in original pieces

• Analysis of how these elements shape the viewer’s experience

• Analysis of these elements in fine art 

• An appreciation for art as an expression of God’s creation
