Junior High Activity Day 2025

While high school students are on their annual retreat, Mrs. Larimiore (7th-grade Homeroom teacher) plans a fun-filled day outside of the classroom for junior high students. This is a critical time for these students to step out of their comfort zone, make new friends, and feel at home, as many transition to CCS during the middle school years.

In the past, students have gone off-campus for roller skating or taken a trip to farms in Greenbluff, Washington. However, this year, they remained on campus for outdoor games, a STEM challenge, a BUNCO tournament, and a treasure hunt! Eighth-grade Symone Jensen said, “It was so much fun to hang out with all my friends and not worry about school; it was great just to be there and have a good time.”

No two years of Junior High Activity Day are ever the same, and this day is often a highlight in students’ school year memories.
