CCS Lions Soccer — Banner Sponsorship Talking Points Student guide • How to ask a local business

Use these talking points when you visit a local business. Speak in your own words — keep it short, clear, and polite.

1. Who you are “Hi, my name is ________. I’m a student at Christian Center School and I play on the Lions soccer team.”

2. The ask “We’re inviting local businesses to sponsor a field banner this season. It’s a 4-by-6-foot banner that hangs at our home games.”

3. What they get “Your name and logo are visible all season to our families, visiting teams, and the community. It’s a simple way to support student-athletes and get local visibility.”

4. The cost “A new sponsor is $250. If you’ve sponsored us before, it’s $200.”

5. How easy it is “You can purchase online, or I can help you get started. You email your logo to the school and they produce the banner. Artwork deadline is September 3.”

6. The close “Would you be willing to sponsor a banner this year? I can send the link or leave the details with you.”
